Quality Assurance
Barentz considers quality of paramount importance and has been certified in the Netherlands according to ISO 9001:2000 since 1993. All of our employees focus continually on improving our services and processes, where possible, with a view to raising our level of quality. We are therefore always open to your suggestions on how to improve our service.
ISO 22000 Food Safety
In 2008 Barentz B.V. certified the Food division for ISO 22000. With this certificate Barentz wants to underline its important responsibility towards customers and suppliers when it comes to communicating about the food safety aspects of the products we supply. ISO 22000 is a qualification system which focuses on information and communication about risks in the food chain.
GMP Feed
For the Feed business Barentz was among the first companies to be GMP certified, thus offering our customers the full assurance of meeting the quality standards as set out by the Productschap Diervoeder.
Responsible Care
The initiative to improve industrial performance in the area of the environment, safety and health on a rolling basis is naturally a focal point within Barentz. After all, Barentz, too, recognises its responsibility in the chain from producer to customer and emphasises its commitment via its part in the Responsible Care programme. Various aspects of the RC programme have already been incorporated into our organisation, and this process will of course be continued in the future.
